The Shameless Breast

The Shameless Project is an Artistic Nude Photography series that showcases the beauty of the female form in the abstract – specifically the Breast, Butt and Vagina. The purpose is to challenge the idea that these body parts are somehow lewd when viewed up close and in such detail. The fact that it makes some uncomfortable is the whole reason I started this project. This is the human body. This is what we look like without a protective covering. It is beautiful, natural, fascinating and CERTAINLY nothing to be ashamed of. I’ve been adding to this project for 10 years and I plan to continue for the foreseeable future. If you’re interested in getting involved, read more details below and get in touch!

The Glitter Files

It’s true, glitter really is the herpes of arts & crafts. Since I started doing these glitter shoots I keep finding it everywhere no matter how much I try to get rid of it. So I’ve come to terms with the fact that glitter is going to be part of my life forever. But luckily I have these amazing images to remind me that the sacrifice was not in vain. The more I work with it, the better the images get. Anybody can do it. All you need is some fractionated coconut oil, a couple bags of ultra-fine glitter, an empty pill bottle, a straw from sonic, some super glue and about 20 towels.

The Ugly Green Chair

I got this chair from a buddy many many years ago and it’s my favorite piece of furniture. Back when I first started shooting I had the bright idea to incorporate it into my photo shoots, going so far as to haul it around in my jeep pretty much everywhere I went. I took it down by the river, to the woods and other locations, which was no small feat. This thing is heavy as fuck. Anymore it stays in the studio, but I still move it around. I need to do some more shoots with it this year.

Silk & Satin

Silk is a beautiful material to work with because of its reflective properties, but it’s also pretty fun to do composites with. I’ll take a hundred shots or so while spinning and flipping the silk around and end up with a ton of great puzzle pieces to fit together in photoshop. Check out some examples in the gallery and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Self Paint

I love body paint shoots, but I love it even more when they paint themselves. It adds another layer of intimacy to the whole thing. I had a hunch it would be a great idea but I had no idea just how fun it would be. And it’s an opportunity for the ladies to express themselves creatively.

Little Red Dress

I’m not sure where this dress came from. One day it just showed up in the studio years ago and I’ve been putting it to use ever since. It’s a pretty hot little number and it looks great on every lady who’s worn it. I have a bunch of on-off shots of it with several ladies that I’ve been collecting and they’re gonna look so amazing as lenticulars, where you move side to side and the image changes back and forth. Keep an eye out for that in the very near future.
